Omnicrafter FAQ
Everything about the free infinite crafting card game at omnicrafter.io.
What is Omnicrafter?
Omnicrafter is a free, browser-based infinite crafting card game. You drag two element cards together to craft something new. The first time anyone in the world combines a given pair, an AI invents the result — its name, emoji, and 32×32 pixel-art card — and that discovery is credited to the player forever. Every later craft of the same item mints a serial-numbered copy, trading-card style: #1 of 1, #2 of 47, and so on.
Is it free? Do I need to download anything?
Completely free, no download. It runs in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. No ads, no trackers, and no email — pick a nickname and play.
Is it like Infinite Craft or Little Alchemy?
Same family, different heart. Like Infinite Craft and Little Alchemy, combinations are unbounded and AI-imagined. What Omnicrafter adds is the collector layer: permanent first-discovery credit, serial-numbered mints, rarity tiers frozen at mint time, 1v1 duel races, and a shared persistent multiplayer canvas.
How do first discoveries work?
When you combine a pair nobody has ever tried, the result is generated on the spot by AI (Claude by Anthropic), then cached globally forever. Your name is permanently displayed on the item as its discoverer, and you hold mint #1 — its rarest possible copy.
What are mints, serial numbers, and rarity?
Every craft mints a numbered copy, like a trading-card print run. Rarity is frozen at mint time from two ingredients: crafting depth (distance from the four base elements) and earliness (first discovery is boosted two tiers, top-10 one tier, and past #100 rarity decays). The discoverer of a 1-of-1 holds a legendary forever, even after ten thousand others craft it.
Can I play with friends?
Two ways. ⚔️ Duel is a 1v1 race: create a room, share the 4-letter code, and race from the base elements to a secret target item neither of you has ever crafted. The 🌐 Infinite Canvas is one shared world where every player owns a plot — and in the central Commons, dragging your card onto another player's card co-crafts the result for both of you.
Do I need an account or email?
No. Playing as a guest creates a real account with no forms. Secure it later in one tap with a passkey or password. We never ask for an email.
What does it run on?
Any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — on desktop, tablet, or phone. Touch-friendly, no app needed.
